Two Member Team Match/Stroke League

The two member match play is played with the A(lower handicap) players from each team playing each other and the B(higher handicap) players playing each other. The default play is 9 holes (holes 3-11), however, the teams may agree in advance to play 18 holes. Scoring is the same for a 9 hole or 18 hole match.  So, two independent matches, A and B are being played. Points are awarded as follows:

  1. Each match = two points (1 for each player if all square)
  2. Each match = one point for net winner (1/2 if tied)
  3. Combined team net winner = one point (1/2 if tied)
This yields 7 points shared by the two teams. Team totals are updated each week. At the end of the season, teams will play a single elimination divisional playoff.

2018 Season play has wound up with the league tournament results in the Tournament link below. Congratulations to Robbie Miller and Scott Tucker who defeated Daniel and Avery Wiggs in the championship match. Yancy Weddington and Justin Wiseman lost in one semifinal match with Adam and Jordan Parks losing in the other and those two teams tied for 3rd place.

We’re looking forward to next season. Look for a signup sheet in the clubhouse next spring if you are interested in participating in the 2019 two member league.
