The two member match play is played with the A(lower handicap) players from each team playing each other and the B(higher handicap) players playing each other. The default play is 9 holes (holes 3-11), however, the teams may agree in advance to play 18 holes. Scoring is the same for a 9 hole or 18 hole match. So, two independent matches, A and B are being played. Points are awarded as follows:
- Each match = two points (1 for each player if all square)
- Each match = one point for net winner (1/2 if tied)
- Combined team net winner = one point (1/2 if tied)
